Miss Geneva Ann McKee

Miss Geneva Ann McKee, 84, resident of Morris Avenue, died Monday, December 17, 2012 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Elsey officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late John Andrew McKee and Ruby Fitzgerald McKee. She was a homemaker and a wonderful cook. Miss McKee was a member of West End Baptist Church. Survivors include her brother, Norman Lee McKee of Old Hickory; nieces and nephews, Rebekah "Beckie" Weatherford of Columbia, Beth Weatherford (Pat) O'Connor of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, Donnie (Patti) Weatherford of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Andrew Lee McKee of Columbia, Scott (Leigh) McKee of Cumming, Georgia; five great nieces and nephews and five great-great nieces and nephews. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
