Morris "Buddy" Ezell

Morris Edward "Buddy" Ezell, 65, Maury County realtor and resident of Sunnyside Lane, died Monday, July 2, 2012 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens with Wendell Robinson officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 5 - 8:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols. The family suggests memorials to Columbia Academy, 1171 Columbia Academy Circle, Columbia, TN 38401. Ezell and Marie Woods Ezell and a 1965 graduate of Columbia Central High School. He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Masters degree in Economics and also graduated from Nashville School of Law. Mr. Ezell was a former member of the Columbia Jaycees and currently was a member of Columbia Elks Lodge 686. He was an avid antique collector and was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include his sister, Connie (Steve) Thomason of Columbia; nephew, Matthew (Ashley) Thomason of Nashville; niece, Morgan Thomason of Columbia; several cousins; and his beloved St. Bernard, Forrest.
