Mr Chris Eddlemon

November 22, 1964 — February 26, 2011

James Christopher "Chris" Eddlemon, 46, self-employed carpenter, died Saturday, February 26, 2011 at his residence on Hampton Road. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Monday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Ziegler officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 10:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 1864, Columbia, TN 38402. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of Sheila Henderson Eddlemon of Columbia and the late James H. Eddlemon. He served in the U. S. Army and was of the Baptist faith. A sports enthusiast, Chris enjoyed playing Little League Baseball and Babe Ruth Baseball and later coached Little League Baseball. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one daughter, Kristy Goodman of Columbia; one son, Jerred Eddlemon of Columbia; two grandchildren, Alyssa Tidwell and Justin Eddlemon; one brother, Jeffrey (Tammy) Eddlemon of Columbia; one nephew, Jacob Eddlemon of Oakdale; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Andy Whitley, Keith Huckaby, Chris Gray, Jacob Eddlemon, Jordan Schak, and Jackie Frost.
