Mr. Kenneth Randall "Randy" Whitley, 49, butcher and resident of West Hardin Drive, died Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Pruitt and Rev. Bob Adair officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to House of Prayer Baptist Church, 103 Morningside Lane, Columbia, TN 38401. He was employed several years as a butcher at Superama Foods and was more recently employed at Harris Foodland. Mr. Whitley was well-known for his deer processing. He was a member of House of Prayer Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Donna Kelley Whitley of Columbia; one son, Justin Eli Whitley of Columbia; two stepsons, Josh (Alissa) Davidson of Columbia; Jonathan Davidson of Spring Hill; one stepdaughter, Misty (Jerimy) Kelley of Columbia; one sister, Pam (Allen) Pressnell of Columbia; one brother, Mike "Eli" (Pam) Whitley of Linden; and four grandchildren, Jacob Tyler Kelley, Ashlynn Kelley, Jaxon Lee Davidson, and Emma Grace Davidson. Pallbearers will be Kent Langley, Chris Sellers, Steve Manley, Kevin Thomason, Fred Tapper, Ronnie Harris, Johnny Ragsdale, Jeff Walker, and Timmy Collins. Honorary pallbearers will be members of House of Prayer Baptist Church.
