Mrs Dorothy Workman Lynch

View Funeral Webcast Dorothy Eunice Workman Lynch, 83, homemaker and former employee of Dixie Manufacturing, died Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Ledbetter officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Clarence Workman and Annie Mae Attkisson Workman. On July 9, 1976 she married Lem Lynch who preceded her in death on December 21, 1997. Mrs. Lynch was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include one son, Ricky Wayne Oliver of Columbia; two brothers, Glenn Workman of Goodland, Kansas; John M. Workman of Ethridge; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
