Nancy Delois Holcomb

Nancy Delois Holcomb, 78, resident of Rayburn Avenue, died Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Wendell Robinson officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Leslie B. Holcomb, Sr. and Patrie Jane Brown Holcomb. She was a 1952 graduate of Central High School and also graduated from Columbia Business College. She was retired from J. C. Penney Co. Ms. Holcomb was a member of Graymere Church of Christ. Survivors include her son Ricky (Mary Jane) Holcomb of Santa Fe; granddaughter Ashley Holcomb; grandson Steven Holcomb; two great-granddaughters Brooke Holcomb and Loren Holcomb; two sisters-in-law Thelma Holcomb and Margaret Holcomb; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by five brothers J.W. Holcomb, Milton Holcomb, Leslie Holcomb, Clint Holcomb and Jerry Holcomb. Pallbearers will be Donald Holcomb, Terry Holcomb, Todd Holcomb, Scott Holcomb, Donnie Elrod, Stacy Anderson and Dale Holcomb. Honorary pallbearers will be Sarah Boehms, Joann Sandefur, Reba Anderson, Nell Gilliam, Lessie Stockard, Phyllis Coble, Central High School Class of 1952 and members of Graymere Church of Christ.
