Nancy Jane Oliver Wiley

Nancy Jane Oliver Wiley, 51, died Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at her residence on Comstock Avenue. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Eddie Rogers and Rev Joe Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Mount Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 12 - 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to The People's Table. Nancy worked as a custodian at Royal's Hair Fashions on Saturday afternoons. She loved people and enjoyed walking around Columbia with her best friend and husband, Billy, visiting and making people smile. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband, Billy Wayne Wiley of Columbia; two sons, Billy Dewayne Oliver and Brandon Wayne Oliver; mother-in-law, Ernestine Dodd King of Columbia; several close friends including Joanne Clark, Tommy Dodd, Marie Woodard, Linda Matlock, Geraldine Dodd, Joe Matlock, Tammy Woodard, Ashley Woodard, Dusty Woodard, Darren Woodard, Vienna King, and Louie all of Columbia; friends at The People's Table; and employees of several downtown Columbia businesses, churches and many others. The staff of Oakes & Nichols will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Frances Dickson, Lori Stockard, Kaye Cheek and Connie Roberts
