Narvie Pearson Wall

View Video Tribute Mrs. Narvie Pearson Wall, 76, retired nurse at Maury Regional Hospital and NHC Healthcare of Columbia, died Monday, July 26, 2010 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Arch Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Thursday from 12 noon until time of service at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Ellyard Pearson and Fannie Mae Hammox Pearson. She attended Zion School and graduated from King's Daughters Nursing School. Mrs. Wall was a member of Zion Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, William Thomas Wall of Columbia; two daughters, Mary Anderson and Mrs. Rachel (Jason) Lyles both of Columbia; grandchildren, Jaycie Lyles and Rhett Lyles both of Columbia; brother, Elliott B. (Ann) Pearson of Port Orchard, Washington; cousins, Robert Pearson, Maxie Haywood, Harold Agent, J.B. West, Jr., Jane Counts, Melissa Hughes, Johnny Haywood; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and great nephews; and several great-great nieces and great nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Frazier, Jason Lyles, Rufus Haygood, Campbell Ridley, Jr., Walter Harlan, Dr. Gibran Naddy, Dr. Moataz Toban, the doctors and nurses at Core Physicians and in I.C.U. at Maury Regional Medical Center.
