View Video Tribute View Funeral WebcastMrs. Neva Pearl Weaver Kincaid, 83, retired teacher and resident of Double Branch Road, died Friday, May 22, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Clay Gentry and Nathan Hagood officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 1:30 - 4:30 PM and Monday from 12:00 noon until time of service at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late William "Will" Henry Weaver and Sallie Crossland Weaver. On July 9, 1954 she married Dugin Moore Kincaid who preceded her in death September 7, 2010. Mrs. Kincaid taught school at Spring Hill and Enterprise and also worked on the family dairy farm. She was well known for her canned preserves and goods and loved to cook for everyone. No one ever left her home without being fed both physically and spiritually. She was a member of Lanton Church of Christ and a former member of Jackson Heights Church of Christ and Collegevue Church of Christ. Survivors include her children, David M. (Vicky) Kincaid of Columbia, Rachel (Allen) Neeley of Athens, Alabama, Sara (Roger)Toombs of Columbia, Mary (Mark) Haynes of Ethridge and Donnie Spires who she regarded as a son; sisters, Ola Mae Andrews, Nellie (Valton) Rummage; brothers, Clarence Weaver, Bill (Valree) Weaver, Jack (Faye) Weaver; grandchildren, Wade (Jessica) Kincaid, Steve (Amber) Kincaid, Stan (Coelina) Kincaid, Ashley (Chris) Barnett all of Columbia, Jordan (Missy) Toombs of Dothan, AL, Damon Toombs of Columbia, Cord (Courtney) Haynes of Huntsville, AL, Elizabeth, Rebekah, Jonathan Haynes all of Ethridge, Jacob, Kathryn, Sara Beth Neeley all of Athens, AL, Jackie Kincaid of Williamsport, Amarie Broyles; great-grandchildren, Blake, Hailey, Jase, Peyton, Braxton, Aleigha, Caleb, Brenin, David Cole Kincaid, Ethan and Abigail Kincaid, Keira and Kiley Risner; sister-in-law, Nell Weaver; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Samuel Weaver, George Weaver, Dock (Tennie) Weaver, Roy (Becky) Weaver, Hint Frierson Weaver; and sisters, Eulala (Everett) Prestridge, Mary Kirk, Sara (Garland) Glenn and Jane Trimble. Active pallbearers will be Wade Kincaid, Stan Kincaid, Steve Kincaid, Jordan Toombs, Jacob Neeley, Cord Haynes, Jonathan Haynes, Chris Barnett and Damon Toombs. Honorary pallbearers include special friends and helpers, John Neelley, Charles and Shirley Rankin and nieces and nephews.
