View Funeral Webcast Patricia Ann "Tricia" Chaney Cothran, 60, resident of Mayflower Dr., died Monday, August 2, 2010 at Williamson Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Oakes & Nichols with John Vaughan officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of Ann K. Chaney of Columbia and the late James Robert Chaney, Sr. She was a 1969 graduate of Columbia Central High. On August 16, 1969 she married Kernie Brown "K.B." Cothran who preceded her in death July 15, 2009. Mrs. Cothran was a homemaker and a member of Graymere Church of Christ. Survivors in addition to her mother include a daughter, Ann Marie (Matt) Schulz of Franklin; son, Kernie Benson Cothran of Murfreesboro; granddaughter, Kaylee Addyson Cothran; brother, James Robert (Olga) Chaney, Jr. of Venice, Florida; aunt, Evelyn (Eugene) Carpenter of Columbia; and niece, Anastasia Marina Chaney of Venice, Florida. Pallbearers will be Ron Sellers, Farrell Long, Harry Mack Bryant, Rick Luna, Jim Thurman, Ricky Jewell, Roy Paul, Jim Chaney, Jr., Benson Cothran, Matt Schulz and Johnny Smith.
