Paulette Marie Torretto

Paulette Marie Torretto, 70, resident of West 7th St., died Sunday, May 15, 2015 at St. Thomas Hospital. Visitation will be conducted Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The family suggests memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105. The Springfield, Illinois native was the daughter of the late John Thomas Torretto and Margie Marie Young Torretto. She was a realtor for thirty years and was owner/broker of Blue Ribbon Realty. Ms. Torretto was an active supporter of community activities and worked at the Maury County Visitor's Center and Meals on Wheels. She loved to read and work crossword puzzles, cook for her friends, and was a Bunco afficianado. Ms. Torretto loved spending time with her friends and family members. She was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church. Survivors include her sons, Gregory Greksa of Wheeling, Illinois, Gary (Tammy) Greksa of Columbia; daughter, Gianna (Bjorn) Kunz of Crystal Lake, Illinois; sisters, Monica Torretto of Arlington Heights, Illinois, Lisa (Mark) Albertson of Carmel, Indiana; and five grandchildren.
