Pauline Moore Holcomb

Mrs. Pauline Moore Holcomb, 91, died Monday, April 27, 2015 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Carl May officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Mrs. Holcomb was a native of Maury County and the daughter of the late Carter Timmons and Mary Elizabeth Stacey Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Freeman Holcomb, Sr., son, Samuel Freeman "Hawk" Holcomb, Jr., daughter, Freeman Okalene Holcomb Owens and brothers Loftin Moore and Noel Moore. Survivors include daughters, Mildred Holcomb of Columbia, Sammie (Bob) Mason of Greenbrier, sons, Hal (Belinda) Holcomb of Columbia, and, Ray (Debbie) Holcomb of Spring Hill, daughter-in-law, Marilyn Holcomb of Columbia, eleven grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren, and brother, Oneill Moore of Columbia. Pallbearers will be Samuel Freeman "Hawk" Holcomb, III, Carter Moore, Stephen Moore, Patrick Schipani, Jimmy Stoltz and David Stoltz. Memorials may be made to Berea Church of Christ, Rose Hill Cemetery or Hospice Compassus.
