View Funeral WebcastPauline "Polly" Stewart Norman, 62, resident of Clark Street in Mt. Pleasant, died Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Brother Stephen Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be extended at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Doris Stewart and Elvia Mae Cates Stewart. Known as a generous person, she willingly gave to others and put everyone above herself. She especially loved her pets, "Pete Lee" and "Mitzy Lee" and took them everywhere she went when traveling cross-country with her husband. She married Kenneth A. "Kenny" Norman May 12, 2006. One of his favorite memories is reading her Bible stories every night which led her to accepting the Lord as her Savior and being baptized at Main Street Church of Christ. Survivors in addition to her husband include her children, Jennifer Stewart, Jessica "Sissy" Osborne, Jeffery Osborne, and Christopher Osborne; sisters, Mildred Kelley, Deloise "Cricket" (Jerry) Love, and Mary Ann Kelley; brothers, Roger Stewart and Danny Stewart. She was preceded in death by six sisters and two brothers. Kenneth Norman, Stanley Norman, Roger Dale Stewart, David Martin, Robby Love, and James Kelley will serve as pallbearers.
