View Funeral WebcastPayton Michael Lee Roland, 5 day old son of Darrell Lee Roland and Abbie Noel James of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Dusty Clark officiating. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. In addition to his parents, he is survived by maternal grandparents, Karen & Chris McMillan of Lewisburg; aunts, Amanda (Michael) Wise and Ashley (Zack) Stephens, both of Lewisburg; cousins, Joshua James, Brooklyn Wise, and Robert Stephens, all of Lewisburg; and great grandfather, Herman Wikle of Chapel Hill. He was preceded in death by grandfather, Bobby Darrell Roland.
