Peggy Reese Fry

View Funeral Webcast Peggy Joan Reese Fry, 80, homemaker and resident of Franklin, died Monday, April 18, 2011 at Williamson Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Friday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Jacob officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late James Harlan Reese and Estelle Massey Reese. She was married to Robert Fry who preceded her in death on September 7, 1975. Mrs. Fry was a member of Craft Memorial United Methodist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Cynthia Fry of Nashville; one sister, Mrs. Carolyn Kennedy of Franklin; one grandson, Nathan Fry of Nashville; two nieces, Patricia Baldwin and Ginny Kennedy Womack; and one nephew, Mark Kennedy. She was preceded in death by one son, James Robert Fry who died March 22, 1982. Pallbearers will be Matthew Baldwin, Justin Baldwin, Mark Kennedy, Will Kennedy, Brad Womack, Cameron Henderson, Kent Cooper, Tony Massey and Kenny Jones.
