View Video TributeMr. Phillip Wayne Branham, 56, retired employee of General Motors and resident of Roy Sellers Road, died Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Wright officiating. Burial will follow in Neapolis Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 3 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association, P.O. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. A native of Anderson, Indiana he was the son of Rrene Garmon Branham of Markelville, Indiana and the late Mell Branham. He was a graduate of Indiana University. Mr. Branham moved to this area 22 years ago and enjoyed coaching his son's baseball teams. He attended the Methodist Church. In addition to his mother, Mr. Branham is survived by his wife, Denise Ann Whistler Branham of Columbia; a daughter, Kimberly Ann Branham of Columbia; son, Phillip James Branham of Columbia; sister, Linda (Allen) Rodecap of Anderson, Indiana; brother, Gary (Karen) Branham of Pendleton, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Jeremy Rodecap. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
