View Video Tribute Mrs. Phyllis Stewart Lancaster, 59, resident of South High St., died Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Theta Baptist Cemetery with Elmer Lusk officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4 - 8:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family at First Farmers & Merchants Bank, 816 S. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Edgar Louis Stewart and Jeraldine Pogue Stewart McCrary. She was a graduate of Central High School. On February 14, 1981 she married Danny Lancaster who preceded her in death November 21, 1998. Mrs. Lancaster was formerly employed at Morrison Café at Saturn Corp. in Spring Hill. She was a member of Eastside Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughter, Amber (Hodge) Cook of Columbia; son, Christopher Louis Lancaster of Nashville; grandchildren, Emily Cook, Devin Lancaster, Christopher Lancaster; brother, Eddie (Beverly) Stewart; aunts, Doris Ball Romine, Carolyn (Dean) Priest; sister-in-law, Wanda (Donnie) Burns; and father-in-law, Jimmy Lancaster. She was preceded in death by a brother, Tim Stewart; mother-in-law, Christine Lancaster; and sister-in-law, Sandra Potts.
