View Video Tribute Robert Jason Brooks, 41, resident of Lewisburg, died Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Jeremy Butt officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences to the family may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of Lesa Edwards Brooks of Lewisburg and the late Andy Brooks and attended Santa Fe Schools. He had been employed as a machinist with Mid-South Machine in Murfreesboro. Jason loved Nascar, Harley Davidson motorcycles, football, camping and grilling out. In addition to his mother survivors include his daughter, Ashley Brooks of Columbia; sons, Nick Brooks and Drew Brooks both of Columbia; sister, Andrea (Barry) Woodard of Lewisburg; brothers, Jeff (Pat) Brooks of Lewisburg, Steve (Jenny) Brooks of Ethridge; eight nieces and nephews; and three great nieces and great nephews. Pallbearers include Barry Woodard, Chris King, Michael Etheridge, Dennis Pendarvis, Brian Crabtree and Austin Starling.
