Ramona Vestal Jones

Mrs. Ramona Jean Vestal Wall Jones, 77, resident of Stillcorn Ridge Road, died Monday, April 27, 2015 at NHC Hillview. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Rick Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in Knob Creek Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Raymond Vestal and Minnie Wells Vestal and was a 1955 graduate of Central High School. She was a longtime employee in Dr. Kustoff's office and retired as a probate clerk from the Maury County Clerk & Master Office. Mrs. Jones was a member of West End Baptist Church and member of the JOY Sunday School Class. Survivors include her husband James H. "Jimmy" Jones of Columbia; daughter, Jeanna Wall (Eddie) Brooks of Columbia; and two grandsons, Brandon Brooks and Brett Brooks both of Columbia. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carroll Wall. Active pallbearers will be George Jones, Carl Jones, Bobby Gaskell, Charles Wall, Doug Fraser, Wayne Wells, Don Ball and Tommy Hight, Sr. Honorary pallbearers include the 1955 Class of Central High School and members of the JOY Sunday School Class of West End Baptist Church.
