Randy Darrell Blocker, Sr.

Randy Darrell Blocker, Sr., 72, retired employee of Union Carbide, died Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at his residence. A celebration of life will be conducted Thursday from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born March 19. 1948 in Maury County, he was the son of the late Ottis Blocker and the late Hattie Tinsley Blocker. Mr. Blocker served in the United States Army. He enjoyed playing music and fishing. Survivors include his sons, Randy Darrell (Kate) Blocker, Jr. of Alabama; Ron (Gayle) Blocker of Columbia; daughter, Crystal Blocker of Columbia; friend, Norma Jean Parham; grandchildren, Taylor Marie Blocker; Corey Miller; Josh Blocker; Brenden Blocker; brothers, Odell (Kathy) Blocker; Jerry (Josephine) Blocker; Larry (Onie) Blocker; and sisters, Carolyn Taylor; Lavonda Green; and Diane Alexander; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Darrick Cheyenne Blocker and daughter, Patricia Maie Blocker; siblings, Vernon Blocker; Glenda Hannah; Shirley Woods.
