Randy Edward Hall, 72, retired owner and operator of R. K. R. Oxygen & Supplies, and resident of Columbia, passed away at his residence on April 5, 2026.
Memorial services will be conducted Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Steve Blackwell officiating and with military honors provided by the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will visit with friends on Thursday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to Jones Cemetery, c/o Barbara Harmon, 2036 North Lasea Road Spring Hill, TN 37174. Online condolences may be extended at www.oakesandnichols.com.
Born December 12, 1953 in Nashville, TN, Randy was the son of the late Robert G. Hall and the late Peggy Jo Jones Hall. Randy was a Christian and proud veteran, serving his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict and a member of the Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. On July 5, 1974 he married the love of his life, Jackie Yancey. In addition to running R. K. R. Oxygen & Supplies, he was a farmer and master beef producer. Randy enjoyed making pottery, listening to smooth jazz, and rain on a tin roof.
In addition to his wife of 52 years, Jackie Yancey Hall, he is survived by son, Rob Hall; daughters, Kacy (Rip) Baxter and Randianne (Jay) Sears; grandchildren, Addie Sears, Cason Sears, Grady Hall, Cora Hall, Everly Sears, and Taylor (Dakota) Qualls; great-grandchildren, Maxx Qualls and Knox Qualls; sisters, Debbie McLendon and Cindy (Kenny) Lancaster; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Calvin and Anita Cheek; brother-in-law, Johnny (Anita) Yancey; nephews, J. B. (Shaneal) Miller, Mat McLendon, Kyle (Kourtney) McLendon, Shane (Stefanie) Lancaster, and Josh (Kim) Lancaster; nieces, Stephanie (Barry) Fly and Michelle McLendon; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Finley Calvin Baxter.
