View Video Tribute View Funeral Webcast Rebecca Cothron Greenfield, 84, homemaker and resident of Tinsley Lane, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Morning Pointe. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Joe Macer officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Alex Cothron, Sr. and Ora Lee Stultz Cothron. She was a long-time member of Eastside Church of Christ. Her husband, Loyd A. Greenfield, died March 10, 1988. Survivors include her brother, Alex Cothron, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Grace Cothron and Minnie Morrow; nieces and nephews, Beverly (Dewayne) Wesley, Beth (Ted) Jacobs, Carnice (Todd) Caskey, Jim (Sue) Cothron, Sr.; great-nieces and great-nephews, Rebecca Lauren (Jeff) Cottam, Kristen Leigh Cothron, Courtney Cothron, Kayla Cothron, Baylee Cothron, Jordan Cothron, Sydni Cothron, Nina (Matt) Boshers, Paige Caskey, James Alex (Lori) Cothron, Jr., Lon Allen (Trena) Cothron, Thomas B. Cothron, Sean P. (Brandi) Cothron, Patrick (Elisha) Nelson, Adam Loyd Caskey, Alex Conner Cothron, Peyton Nelson, Ryan Tuck, and R. J. Toler. She was preceded in death by brother, W. L. Cothron and sister-in-law, Frances Cothron. Active pallbearers are Jim Cothron, Jr., Lon Allen Cothron, Thomas Brentford Cothron, Sean Paul Cothron, Ted Jacobs, Todd Caskey, Dewayne Wesley, Patrick Nelson, and Adam Caskey. Honorary pallbearers include the Staff of Morning Pointe. The family expresses deep appreciation to the staff of Hospice Compassus and Dr. Sarita Voncha-Reddy for their care and kindness during her illness.
