Renae Ring Fox

Renae Ring Fox, 48, former employee of First Federal Savings & Loan Association and resident of Rock Springs Road, died Friday, December 4, 2009 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Mike Bryan, Randy Short, and Charlie Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Maury County native was a 1979 graduate of Columbia Central High School and long-time member of New Lasea Church of Christ. Renae loved all holidays, especially Christmas and was an avid camper. Survivors include her husband, Randy Fox, whom she married July 19, 1980; her mother, Sherry Faye Connelly Ring of Spring Hill; brother, Randy Dale (Ginger) Ring of Spring Hill; nieces, Lacey (Blair) Keeling and Stacey Crowell, both of Columbia; great-nieces, Makenna Crowell and Phynlee Keeling; great-nephew, Lawson Keeling; special friends, Annie and Greg Grissom and Nikkie and Jimmy French; beloved pets, Tootsie Roll and Callie. She was preceded in death by her father, Aubary Dale Ring in 2008. Active pallbearers are Don Martin, Tony Scott, Steve Cross, Greg Grisson, Jimmy French, Blair Keeling, Steve Brown, and Dr. Mike Richardson. Honorary pallbearers include the congregation of New Lasea Church of Christ and members of the Columbia Fire Department. The family extends deep appreciation to Dr. John Sergent and Debbie Russell for their special care and kindness over the years.
