Richard Thomas "Jimmy" Shaw

Richard Thomas "Jimmy" Shaw, 65, former employee of A. J. Personnel and resident of Lawrenceburg, died Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center. The Maury County native was the son of the late Francis Anderson Shaw, Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Maxwell Shaw. Mr. Shaw had a great personal charm and sense of humor; and he enjoyed doing yard work. Survivors include his daughter, Regina Marie Shaw Bassham of Summertown; two grandchildren, Jared Blade Bassham and Devin Gunner Bassham, both of Summertown; former wife and devoted friend, Judith Gilliam Shaw of Summertown; and special friends, Sandra Potts of Culleoka and Dale Cross of Summertown. He was preceded in death by special mother-in-law, Ruth Gilliam Brewer and sister-in-law, Teresa "Teri" Gilliam Gestring.
