Robert Carlos Spraggins

Robert Carlos Spraggins, 83, retired self-employed appliance repairman and resident of New Lewisburg Highway, died Monday, April 8, 2013 at Hillview Health Care. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Rev. Bob Vassar officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Carlos Spraggins and Hallie Pearl Burkes Spraggins. He was a member of Pleasant Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include his daughters, Julie Anne (Steve) Winton of Gonzales, Texas and Jana Sue (Lee) Martin of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Jeremy Winton, Lisa Winton, Rachel Martin, Rebekah Dye, Ruth Hutchinson, Daniel Martin, and David Martin; fourteen great-grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
