View Funeral WebcastMr. Roman Scott Moore, 24, lifelong resident of Columbia, died Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at his home on Hatcher Lane. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The Maury County native was the son of Judy Kelley Moore Jett of Columbia and the late Harold David Moore. He was a 2003 graduate of Columbia Central High School and graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a bachelor of science degree in Criminal Justice. Mr. Moore was a Youth Services Officer with the Middle Tennessee Juvenile Detention Center. In addition to his mother survivors include his wife, Rachel Rogers Moore of Columbia; two sisters, LaCrystal Tidwell and Star Tidwell both of Columbia; a brother, Cody Tidwell of Columbia; three uncles, David Kelley and Rick Scott both of Columbia, Kenneth Kelley of Hardeman County; mother and father-in-law, Karen and Danny Rogers of Centerville; and special friends Fagan Pierce and Willie Armstrong. Pallbearers will be Cody Tidwell, Kevin Merideth, Dusty Robertson, John Silva, Michael Stevens, Murphy Moss and Mark Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of the Juvenile Detention Center and employees of Hillview Restaurant.
