View Video Tribute View Funeral Webcast Mr. Ronald “Doe” Luna, 71, former resident of the Campbell Station community in Culleoka, died Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services for Mr. Luna will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Danny Hanson, Christian Cahill and Lori Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. Born on February 4, 1951 in Marshall County, he was the son of the late Andrew Gaston “Jack” Luna and the late Vera Scorobogaty Luna. He was a graduate of Culleoka High School Class of 1969. He married Patricia Kay Harvey Luna on August 28, 1970 who preceded him in death on May 10, 2017. Mr. Luna was employed by Reed Landscaping where he was a truck driver. He enjoyed farming which he had done most of his life, classic cars, and deer hunting. He was involved in both his son’s activities and especially his grandchildren’s activities. Mr. Luna was a member of Campbell Station Church of Christ. Survivors include his sons, Shane (Mandy) Luna of Culleoka and Scott (Rachel) Luna of Lynnville; grandchildren, Haileigh Luna (Peyton) Prince, Jack Luna and Luke Luna all of Culleoka, Katelyn Luna and Gaston Luna both of Lynnville; sisters, Linda Luna (Mike) Wagers of Culleoka and Lori Luna (Terry) Bell of Lewisburg; several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother, Stephen Howard “Bubba” Luna. Pallbearers will be Jeff Smithson, Bobby Brooks, Andy Luna, John Luna, Matthew Hargrove, Tim Lee, Jason Kelley and Peyton Prince. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Brent, Kenny Lamar, Donnie Walls, David Walls, Jack Westmoreland, Mike Hubbell, James Wisdom, Jr. Cates and Clint Smithson.
