View Video TributeView Funeral WebcastMr. Ronn Bryan Lambert, 43, chemical engineer and resident of Amanda Beth Court, died Monday, October 28, 2013 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Kirk Brothers officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1864, Columbia, TN 38402. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Mobile, Alabama native was the son of Jerry E. and Deborah Jones Lambert of Columbia. The family moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana when he was two years old. He lived in Lousiana for twenty years and earned his Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Louisiana State University. After graduation he was employed by Fluor Engineering. Mr. Lambert was a member of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization and loved ministering to children. His hobbies included fishing, four wheeling, traveling all over the world and playing sports. He was a member of Graymere Church of Christ and was a wonderful husband, a thoughtful son and will be missed by many. In addition to his parents, survivors include his wife, Angie Martin Lambert of Columbia; brother, Jarek Kale (Dulcinea) Lambert of Dallas, Texas; nephew, Jacks Kale Lambert; uncles, Don (Linda) Lambert, Billy (Louise) Lambert both of Foley, Alabama, Terry (Donna) Jones of Jay, Florida; and several cousins. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers include Ken Wiles, Charles Webster and Larry Jones.
