View Video Tribute Ruth Davidson Foster, 85, resident of Culleoka, died Friday, April 8, 2011 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 P.M. Monday at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Clark Albright officiating. The family will visit with friends Monday from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Bruce Davidson and Mary Sharp Davidson. On July 10, 1954, she married Kenneth Davis Foster who preceded her in death on June 25, 2001. Mrs. Foster was a former saleslady at Sears in Lewisburg and Columbia and later retired from Downey & Jones Jewelers in Lewisburg. She was an excellent cook and gardener and enjoyed crocheting. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Survivors include one son, Kenneth W. (Sharon) Foster of Lewisburg; two granddaughters, Ashley Foster (Parish) Phelps of Columbia; Tara Foster (Josh) Dockery of Lewisburg; four great grandchildren, Mason Dockery of Lewisburg; Anna Arnett, Kanvas Phelps, and Karysma Phelps, all of Columbia; one sister, Mildred (Jack) Craig of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Pallbearers will be Parish Phelps, Josh Dockery, J. T. Williams, Jimmy Mathis, Jesse Hill, Jimbo Mathis, and Robert Osborne.
