Ruth Lillian Lorenz Griffin, 92, died Monday, January 11, 2016. A private family service was held Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Born April 7, 1923 in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick Lorenz and Lillian Kreuger Lorenz. Survivors include her daughter, Susan (Andy) Woodard of Columbia; grandchildren, Lauren Gaudioso and Steven Artz; and great grandchildren, Magalie Gaudioso, Douglas Artz, Greyton Woodard, and Drew Allen.
