Ruth Kinnard Knox

Ruth Kinnard Knox, age 93 of Murfreesboro died Wednesday February 9, 2022. She was a native of Columbia, TN and was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, George Edward Knox, Sr. who died January 25, 2022, also was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathie Liles, and parents, Horace and Carrie Mai Murphy Kinnard. Mrs. Knox was a member at the West Seventh Street Church of Christ in Columbia, and retired Bookkeeper. She enjoyed playing Bridge and any card game. Mrs. Knox was a graduate of Columbia Central High School and had played in the High School Band. Mrs. Knox is survived by her, sons, George Edward "Eddie” Knox, Jr. and wife Jennifer, and Bobby Knox; grandchildren, Kerry Edward Knox and wife Maria; great-grandchildren, Grady and Ginny. A Memorial Gathering will be March 19th 1:00PM-3:00PM at West Seventh Street Church of Christ in Columbia for Mr. and Mrs. Knox. A private interment was held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Columbia.
