View Video TributeMrs. Sadye Faye Thomason Fox, 70, resident of Scribner Avenue, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at NHC Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with David Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Gibsonville Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Arzo Thomason and Bessie Mae Weatherford Thomason. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was loved by all who met her. She loved flowers, fishing and camping on the river. She attended Maury County schools. Mrs. Fox was employed by Publix Manufacturing for twenty-seven years and after its closure worked for Columbia Specialties for twelve years. She was a member of Highland Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband of fifty-five years, Aubrey Lee Fox of Columbia; daughter, Shelia Senter of Mt. Pleasant; grandchild, Michael (Deidre) Derek Senter; and great-grandchildren, James Fox, Nicole Fox and Blayne King. She was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Doyle Fox, grandson, Lonnie Dean Fox, Jr., and brothers, Arzo "Junior" Thomason, Jr. and Duell Wayne Thomason. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
