Sandra Tate Halliday, aged 68 of Columbia, Tennessee passed away peacefully on May 19, 2025. Sandra was born on November 17, 1956 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was a beloved wife of Edwin “Win” Halliday, Jr.

Her greatest love was gathering the family together and preparing a great meal. She would work tirelessly on each detail, making every moment special and each bite delicious.

Sandra is survived by her husband of 38 years, Edwin “Win” Halliday Jr.; and two children, Edwin “Wilks” Halliday III (Riley) and Currey Pillow Halliday; her mother, Patricia Tate; and sister, Susan Tate. Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Wallace B. Tate.

The family would like to thank the staff at NHC Maury for their kind attention they gave during her stay.

A visitation will be held in the Parish Hall at St. Peter's Episcopal Church on Friday, May 30 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Graveside services will be held at St. John’s Churchyard following the visitation at 1:00 PM conducted by The Rev. Theodore Edwards, Jr. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Directors are assisting the family with arrangements.
