Sandra Lee Sherwood Stewart, 68, resident of Spring Hill, died Friday, March 13, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints with Bishop Ronnie Pennington officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to service time at the church. Burial will be in the Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at Pegram at 9:00 a.m. Thursday. Prior to moving to Columbia to make her home, Mrs. Stewart worked as a nurse's aid at Jackson Manor Lutheran Home and Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau, Missouri for a number of years. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Boyd Jerome "Jay" Stewart,whom she married March 10, 1967; children, Jean (Brad) Mouser of Spring Hill, Ronald Jay (Dawn) Stewart of Columbia, Richard (Kandace) Stewart of Pickerington, Ohio, and Natalie Carmal (Sean) Hansen of Antioch; sisters, Elvira Jacobson, Colleen Loveland, Pat Gittens, and Judy Olson, all of Ogden, Utah, and LaDawn Manning of Sierra Vista, Arizona; brother, Craig Sherwood of Ogden, Utah; twelve grandchildren.
