View Funeral WebcastMiss Sara D. Lumsden, 94, retired waitress, died Sunday, June 30, 2013 at her residence at Windlands South on Sam Boney Drive in Nashville. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 12:00 noon at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Adair officiating. Burial will follow in Ring Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. A native of the Pottsville Community, she was the daughter of the late Willie Maynor Miller Lumsden. She had previously worked in the dining and cafeteria areas of the Baptist Sunday School Board and Woodmont Country Club. Survivors include several cousins in the Middle Tennessee area.
