View Video Tribute Mrs. Sarah Rebecca Primm Davis, 90, former longtime resident of the Leatherwood Community, died Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Life Care Center of Columbia surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Ezell Rose and Bobby Cates officiating. Burial will follow in Greenfield Bend Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Hickman County native was the daughter of the late Porter Primm and Ara Parker Primm. On July 25, 1942 she married Sanford Davis who preceded her in death on January 12, 2011. Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and farmer who loved to garden and fish. She was a member of Mission Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, William Thomas "Tommy" (Debbie) Davis of Culleoka and Jerry W. (Peggy) Davis of Primm Springs; grandchildren, Steve (Mary Lewis) Davis of Columbia, Andy (Katrina) Davis of Williamsport, Lorrie (Jonathan) O'Guin of Primm Springs, Tracy (Tony) Bailey of Williamsport, Donna Jean Davis of Culleoka; thirteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Tommie Meadors, Lucy Kelley, Elizabeth Estes, Johnnie Rochelle, Carrie Cotham and Bessie Nash; and brothers, Homer Primm, Comer Primm and Wesley Primm. Pallbearers will be Steve Davis, Andy Davis, Jonathan O'Guin, Danny Primm, Wilson Rochelle, Arnold Hanes and Johnny Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be the staff at Life Care Center whose care and concern for Mrs. Davis was greatly appreciated by the family.
