MRS. SARAH MILLS Mrs. Sarah Ruth Sanders Mills, 77, homemaker and resident of Gray Circle, died Monday, August 12, 2002, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10:00 A.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Vassar officiating. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 3:00 P.M. at Valhalla Memory Gardens in Huntsville, Alabama, with visitation one hour prior to service. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to, American Cancer Society, Pleasant Heights Baptist Church Building Fund, or Hopewell Reformed Presbyterian Church. A native of Madison County, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Franklin Pierce Sanders and Emma Lee Roberts Sanders. She was married to John M. Mills who preceded her in death on July 31, 1990. Mrs. Mills attended Pleasant Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Sandra Shotwell of Spartanburg, South Carolina; Kyla (John Boyd) Cothran of McCains Community; Tanya (Bobby) McCormack of Cornersville; one son, John David (Jan) Mills of Hohenwald; one sister, Naomi Reider of Indianapolis, Indiana; ten grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be Royal Dickson, Steve LeFever, Mike Marks, Harold Spray, Barry Crotzer, Dr. John Simmons, Dr. Mark Shelton, Dr. Anthony Khim, Dr. Amit Choksi, Dr. John Worthman, Dr. Grant Barr, John Cotham, Dr. James Fitts, Coronary Care Unit Nursing Staff and nurses of Five South of Maury Regional Hospital
