View Video TributeView Funeral Webcast Sherry Kay Cantrell Johnson, 61, resident of 7th Avenue, died Monday, March 28, 2011 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Bro. Doyle Parham and Pastor Mark Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Wilburn Cantrell and Betty Grooms Cantrell. She was employed by Stan's Restaurant. Ms. Johnson loved working in her yard growing flowers and vegetables. She was a member of Pentecostal Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughter Tonya Howard of Old Hickory; two sons Matt (Sharon) Johnson of Santa Fe, Patrick Johnson of Thompson's Station; grandchildren Josh Gibson, Kevin Gibson, Matthew Laine Johnson, Gavin Johnson, Edward Leon Johnson (due April 21, 2011); brothers and sisters Glenda Parson of Columbia, Steve (Charlene) Cantrell of Sandy Hook, Melissa Hendrix of Columbia, Vicky (Richard) Calvert of Summertown, Stanley (Kathy) Cantrell of Pulaski; several nieces and nephews; and her special pet dog, "Buddy". Pallbearers will be Jackie Minis, Stevie Fowler, Jeff Lovett, Jim Powell, Quinn Cooper, Carl "BooBoo" Hutcherson and David Meade.
