View Video Tribute Sheryll Gray Fly, 54, died Saturday, September 15, 2012 at her residence on West 14th Street. Private memorial services will be conducted at a later date. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Leslie Gray Fly and Shirley Blocker Fly and a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. An adoring mother, doting grandmother, and loving sister, the bonds with her family were unbreakable and she held her family first in her heart. She loved attending her grandchildren's ball games with her daughter. She also enjoyed shopping for jewelry, shoes, and clothing and especially decorating her home. She was looking forward to decorating for the fall and Halloween season. Her surviving family is what kept her going, including her daughter, Amity (Ray) Beckenbach of Columbia; sons, Michael Flener of Metarie, Louisiana and Tristan (Laci) McCracken of Columbia; sisters, Leslie Marie (Billy Ray) Huckaby of Spring Hill and Tammy Westmoreland of Shelbyville; grandchildren, Ethan Mealer, Laura Ann Mealer, Megan Mealer, and Madison McCracken, all of Columbia; nieces and nephews, Brooke Huckaby, Britlyn Huckaby, Tranace Farris, Brannon Huckaby, and Kenneth Miller; great-nephews, Elliot Huckaby and Gaven Davis; great-nieces, Jadeyn Clinton, Layla Miller, Savannah Miller, Emma Embry, and Rachel Grace Huckaby; uncle and aunt, Jerry and Wanda Fly of Columbia.
