MRS. SUDIE NORMAN Mrs. Sudie Davis Norman, 72, cafeteria worker at Culleoka School for over twenty years, technician at Heritage Manor, and resident of Culleoka Highway, died Tuesday, January 7, 2003, at Maury Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:30 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with John Vaughan and Tim McHenry officiating. Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens. The Lawrence County native was the daughter of the late Grover Davis and Myrtle Tice Davis. She was first married to William Harwell and later married Albert "Jack" Norman, both who preceded her in death. Mrs. Norman was a member of Culleoka Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters, Judy (Mike) Hickman of Culleoka; Mary (Perry) Pugh of Columbia; two sons James "Jimmy" Harwell and Frankie Dee Harwell, both of Culleoka; special devoted loving friend, Mary Caldwell of Culleoka; two sisters, Marie Hickman of Columbia; Joan (Bobby) Dial of Smyrna; one brother, Johnny (Jane) Davis of Franklin; four grandchildren, Amanda McKennon, Wesley Hickman, Angie Hickman, Suzanna Pugh; two aunts, Geneva Cherry, Lennie (Homer) Haskins; one uncle, Huey Tice; two sisters-in-law, Geneva Davis and Marie Davis; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, J. C. Davis and L. B. Davis; and sister, Della Maddox. Pallbearers will be Wesley Hickman, Charles Davis, Ray Cherry, James Davis, Ray Morrow, Bobby Dial, Jr., John Davis, Jr., Jimmy White, Jack Craig, Tommy Hight, Sr, Byron Davis and Tony Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Culleoka Church of Christ, past and present employees of Heritage Manor and Life Care Center; Ray Westmoreland, Dickson Baker, Pete Brown, Bobby Jo Norman, Jerry Norman, Whitthorne Hickman, and Jim Underwood.
