Terry Wayne Peay

Terry Wayne Peay, 53, former thirteen year employee of Alley-Cassetty Brick & Block and resident of Old Highway 99, died Monday, December 28, 2015 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Robertson officiating. Inurnment will follow in Rock Springs Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of Betty Adams Bigsby of Columbia and the late Harold Wright Peay. He was a 1980 graduate of Columbia Central High School. Mr. Peay enjoyed farming and caring for his cattle. He was an avid fan of NASCAR, Tennessee Titans, and UT football. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by sister, Lisa Peay (Tom) Gordon of Centerville; children, Brandy (Graham) Frazier and Erika (Rodney) Isaacs, both of Gallatin; and Alishia Coates of Portland; six grandchildren; several aunts and uncles; very devoted and special friend, Janet Peay of Little Lot; and very dear friend, Doris Murphy of Spring Hill.
