View Video TributeView Funeral WebcastMrs. Thelma Louise King White, 92, owner and bookkeeper of Eb White Trucking Company, died Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Signature Health Care. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 12:00 noon at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Glenn Richardson officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to Shady Grove Church of Christ, P.O. Box 74, Duck River, TN 38454. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Hickman County native was the daughter of the late Richard King and Lou Sanders King. On October 10, 1936 she married Elbert "Eb" Eugene White who preceded her in death December 2, 1998. She was a member of Shady Grove Church of Christ and also was a longtime member of Riverside Church of Christ. Survivors include her daughters, Wilma Tidwell, Becky (Mike) Lynch both of Columbia; sons, Roy E. White of Columbia, Ronald (Nancy) White of Greenbriar, Arkansas; grandchildren, Mike Tidwell, Beth (Tim) Brewer both of Columbia, Mark (Susie) Curry, Todd (Kim) Curry both of Shady Grove; Chandler White of Charlotte, North Carolina, Bridget (Mitch) Lewis of Harrah, Oklahoma, Heather (Jeff) Roberson of Bees Branch, Arkansas; great-grandchildren, Brennan Willingham, Holly Anne Brewer, Cassie Tidwell, Caitlyn Tidwell, Elizabeth (Michael) Cox, Justin (Crystal) Curry all of Columbia; Michael Curry, Lindsey Curry, Tori Curry all of Shady Grove, Courtney Lewis, Dalton Lewis both of Harrah, Oklahoma, Cole Roberson, Rhette Roberson both of Bees Branch, Arkansas; great-great grandchildren, Jackson Curry, Ryleigh Curry, Allie Cox, Bennett Cox all of Columbia; step-grandchild, Beth (Robert) Owens of Nolensville; step-great grandchildren, Lauren Owens, Hannah Owens, Taylor Owens all of Nolensville; step-great-great grandchild, Mallory Owens of Nolensville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by children, Bobbie Jean White, Freddie Ray White; brothers, Bob King, Everette King; sisters, Archie Baker, Olivia Banks; son-in-law, Clifford Tidwell; daughters-in-law, Rita White and Glenda Chadwell White. Active pallbearers will be Mike Tidwell, Mark Curry, Todd Curry, Justin Curry, Michael Curry, Brennan Willingham, Tim Brewer and Chandler White. Honorary pallbearers include Bootie and Cathy Maxwell, Willie and Tina Baxter, Larry Weaver, Nancy Easley, Kelly and Ricky Duff; special caregivers, Rita King, Nickie McCandless; employees of The Trailer Store and Lynch Equipment; and Dr. Darrel Rinehart and nurses from both NHC Home Health Care and Signature Health Care South Hall.
