Thomas Norris Cheek

Thomas "Tommy" Norris Cheek, 64, retired co-owner of Market Basket, died Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at his residence. The Maury County native was the son of the late Norris B. Cheek and Margaret Galbraith Cheek. He was a 1970 graduate of Columbia Central High School and a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife whom he married May 7, 1979, Tereasa Ivey Cheek of Columbia; sons, Matthew Cheek and Kelly (Tonya) Cheek, both of Columbia; daughter, Candy (Lupe) Perez of Florida; two grandchildren; sister, Beryl Turner; and several nieces and nephews.
