View Video TributeMr. Thomas Wyatt "Tommy" Lee, 53, resident of Snow Creek Road in the Theta Community, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Centennial Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Tandy Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Johnsons Chapel Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. He was born in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana the son of the late Lee Roy Lee, Jr. and Jessie Wyatt Lee and was reared in West Monroe, LA where he attended school and loved to fish. His sense of humor was rivaled only by his big fish stories. He was employed as a truck driver by J.E.D.E. Trucking Company. He accepted Christ as a young man and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Denise Howell Lee of Theta, whom he married on August 20, 1997; sons, Chad Lee, Jesse Lee, Matthew Wilson all of Theta; sister, Dinah Lee (Robert E.) Davis of Minden, Louisiana; sister-in-law, Amanda (Tony) White of Unionville; nieces, Candice Ross of Minden, Louisiana, Elizabeth (Jeff) Holland of Macon, Georgia, Mary Lou Taylor of Unionville; nephews, Timothy Taylor, Patrick Taylor both of Unionville; special aunt, Mary Jo Lee Green of Bernice, Louisiana; in-laws, Ruthie and Chester Howell of Theta; and a host of special cousins in Louisiana. Friends and family will serve as Pallbearers.
