Thomas Daniel Tracy Jr

Mr. Thomas Daniel Tracy, Jr., 66, died Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Heritage Hospital in Shelbyville. Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. at St. John's Churchyard, Ashwood with The Rev. Thomas S. Wilson officiating. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Condolences may be offered online at www.oakeswandnichols.com. The Maury County native was the son of the late Dr. Thomas Daniel Tracy, Sr. and Jane Ouellette Tracy. He held a Masters degree from Middle Tennessee State University and was of the Episcopal faith. Dan lived in a creative world and saw it from an artist's point of view. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Lucy Jane Hosterman of Circleville, Ohio and a niece, Tracy (John DeLap) Hosterman of Columbus, Indiana. He was preceded in death by a brother, William Ernest Tracy.
