View Funeral Webcast Tina Sue Ingram Kersey,52, secretary at Main Street Church of Christ and resident of Meadow Road in Mt. Pleasant, died Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Williamson Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Main Street Church of Christ with J. D. Buckner, Joe Rhodes, and Hal Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Spencer Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday 10:00 a.m. to service time at Main Street Church of Christ. She was married March 23, 1976 to her best friend, Clayburn R. "Randy" Kersey, well-known Church of Christ minister. Throughout their 33 years of marriage, she served as a help-mate in his ministry, taught Bible classes, and was active as a marriage counselor. She was a stay-at-home mom, loved quilting, cooking, sewing, and spoiling her grandchildren. Mrs. Kersey greatly enjoyed working in the outdoors and gardening and actively assisted the FFA by tending to their greenhouse. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Marlinia (Joe) Rhodes of New Johnsonville and Maria (J. D.) Buckner of Nashville; sons, C. J. Kersey of Murfreesboro, Caleb Kersey of Nashville, and Will (fiancé` Sarah Saunders) Kersey of Nashville; her mother, Emma Lovett Ingram of Mt. Pleasant; beloved sister, Joyce (Anthony) Howell of Mt. Pleasant and sister, Kathy Elkins of Alabama; mother-in-law, Betty Kersey of Mt. Pleasant; grandchildren, Elizabeth Rhodes, Mary-Emma Rhodes, Harper Lei Rhodes, James David Buckner, and Jude Davis Buckner; nieces, April Hinson, Angela (Todd) Fritts, Carrie (Shannon) Davis, Jessie (Jay) Grooms, and Brandi (Derrick) Chapman; nephews, Rodney (Lindsey) Howell, Josh (Lindsey) Howell, Ben (fiancé` Tracy Haywood) Kittrell; Lee (Tiffany) Sensat, Clay Sensat, and Eric Sensat. She was preceded in death by her father, James Ingram; sister, Janie Ingram, and brother, Monroe Ingram.Active pallbearers are Randy Kersey, C. J. Kersey, Caleb Kersey, Will Kersey, Rodney Howell, and Josh Howell. Honorary pallbearers include past and present Elders and Deacons of the Philippi, Odd Fellows Hall, Beech Hill, Scribner's Mill, and Main Street Churches of Christ.
