Tonya Kay Green

Tonya Kay Green, 39, former long-time resident of Groveland Ridge Road, died Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Mt. Pleasant Health & Rehab where she made her home the past several years. Graveside services will be conducted Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Pleasant Mount Cemetery with Rev. William Rolman officiating. Family members will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Pleasant Mount Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1620 Fountain Heights Road, Columbia, TN 38401. Notes of sympathy may be extended at www.oakesandnichols.com. The Maury County native was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon Elizabeth Worley and maternal grandfather, Marvin "Jack" Worley. Survivors include her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Mae Sharp Worley of Columbia; father, Allen Wayne (Beverly) Green of Columbia; half-brother, Chris Green of Columbia; aunt, Brenda Worley (Homer) Martin of Columbia; and cousins, Matt (Angela) Martin of Powell, TN, Jeff (Raven) Martin of Knoxville, TN, and Bettye Malugin of Columbia; and her caregivers, Tracy Russell, Jackie Osborne, and Shirley Davis..
