View Funeral WebcastVanessa Pinkleton Mayberry, 56, former employee of Motion Industries, died Friday, January 29, 2016 at her residence on Dry Fork Road in the Hampshire Community. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Russ Adcox officiating. Burial will follow in Worley Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. and Wednesday from 1:00 - 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The Maury County native was the daughter of Marilyn Caruthers Pinkleton of Columbia and the late John Nolan Pinkleton. She was a 1977 graduate of Columbia Central High School. She enjoyed Zumba classes, gardening, and crafting with her grandchildren. She was an active member of Maury Hills Church where she served in various ministries and enjoyed playing Bunco with her church family. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Taneesa Mayberry (Ross) Morton of Hampshire; son, Christopher (Sarah) Mayberry of Spring Hill; brother, Rodney (Cheryl) Pinkleton of Love Town Community; grandchildren, Kendell Morton, Grayson Morton, Peyton Morton, Paisley Morton; aunt, Libby Parnell; uncles, Austin Brewer and Jim (Linda) Caruthers; five nieces; one nephew, several cousins; and special friends, Pam Tuggle, Patty Thurman, Teena Morgan, Sherri Mitchener, Charlie & Lori Mayberry. She was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Nolan Pinkleton; and grandparents, Floyd & Rosie Bell Pinkleton and Roy H. & Frances Caruthers. Pallbearers will be Christopher Mayberry, Ross Morton, Rodney Pinkleton, Kendell Morton, Charlie Mayberry, Ray Brewer, David Bratton, Robert Wakefield, Dustin Pinkleton, and Douglas Tracy.
