Virginia Mixon Marsh

Virginia Margarette Mixon Marsh, 87, died Saturday, May 9, 2015 at her residence on Natchez Trace Road in Williamson County. Graveside services will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at Santa Fe Cemetery. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Bethel Community Church with Rev. Sam Dunlap officiating. The family will visit with friends at Bethel Community Center immediately following the service. Born in Sarasota, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Dewey W. Mixon and Jincie Belle Mixon. She was a member of Bethel Community Church. Her family cherished her as a good Mother, good wife, and "sweetest person in the world." She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward "Jim" Marsh on May 2, 2007 and a daughter, Cynthia Whitehouse. Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Miller of Franklin; son, Charles E. Marsh of Franklin; sisters, Lee Zapeline and Yvonne Tesso of Sarasota, Florida; brothers, Tommy Mixon and Lloyd (Elaine) Mixon of Sarasota, Florida; grandchildren, Kari Bussolino, Mark Miller; great-grandchildren, Paolo Bussolina, Marla Miller, and Maya Miller. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
