Vonda Herrell Tidwell

Vonda Herrell Tidwell, 57, died Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at NHC Columbia. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols with Tim Golden and Greg Golden officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Friday from 4 - 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com. A native of Nashville she was the daughter of the late James Herrell and Betty Jo Ford Herrell. She had been employed at Dixie Manufacturing and was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, John (Stacey) Griffith of Columbia; brothers, James Timothy Herrell, Greg Herrell, and Jeff Herrell all of Owensboro, Kentucky; sisters, Diane Hammonds of Nashville, Tammy Herrell of Savannah, Georgia; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
